Background

Training and experience

Sarah first trained as a Psychodynamic Counsellor in 1997, working in Sutton Counselling, which she helped to found, for many years first as a Counsellor, then Psychotherapist and Group Therapist.

Sarah has worked in the NHS, in two charitable Therapy services, in two Colleges of Further Education on the Counselling course staff, and in Private Practice.

She is a practising member of the Forum for Independent Psychotherapists (FIP) and the Institute of Group Analysis (IGA), and is registered with the UKCP.

Her trainings included infant observation, psychiatric observation placement, and she co-conducted a weekly group in a psychiatric ward for two years.
